According to records, the pub was first opened around 1828 and was named The Robin Hood & Little John, and is now known as The Robin.
The pub has been at the heart of community since the beginning and remains a great local for everyone who visits, either passing or for our regulars.
Over the years the pub has been steadily modernised and now provides a warm, inviting atmosphere with an equally great outside space with some parking
We pride ourselves on our happy, friendly staff and landlord, who serve cask ales, a range of beers and lagers, wines, spirits and liqueurs as well as wide variety of snacks, lunchtime and evening meals.
We are open 7 days for for lunch, dinner or a quick snack and are open all day Sunday when we serve our “famous” traditional full roast dinner.
We often have evening entertainment including singers and bands, as well as Karaoke nights, and can provide a great venue for private celebrations including parties and celebrations and we also have rooms that cater for business or club meetings.
We regularly show live sporting events such as Sky Sports Football, Rugby & Darts to name but a few and even sponsor our local football teams.
We have a great open area to the front of the pub, with comfortable, modern garden furniture, covered fixed umbrellas with heaters, with plenty of room for those warmer days and nights.
